# Risk warning

**Trading forex, gold (XAUUSD), crypto and other leveraged products carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for everyone. You can lose some or all of the money you put in, and on some accounts more than that.**

FXDaily.news publishes market news, levels and trade ideas for education. Nothing on this website, our Instagram or anywhere else we publish is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and none of it is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.

## About our signals

Every "signal" we publish is a written trade idea, not an instruction. Before you act on one, understand what it is and what it isn't.

- **It is not personal.** We don't know your account size, experience, goals or how much you can afford to lose. A setup that suits one trader can be wrong for another.
- **It is not live until its trigger happens.** Each setup names a zone and a candle close. Price may never reach the zone, may reach it and keep going through your stop, or may trigger while you are away.
- **Stops are not guaranteed.** In fast markets, around news, at the weekly open or on a gap, your broker can fill you well past your stop. Slippage and wide spreads are common at FOMC, CPI, NFP and PCE releases.
- **Risk-to-reward is a ratio, not a promise.** A 3R setup risks one unit to make three only if the target is reached. Most setups will not reach every target, and many will hit the stop first.
- **Levels age fast.** The weekly outlook is written on Sunday. News during the week can make a level wrong before price gets there. Check the date on every post.
- **Some levels come from other analysts.** Our weekly zones are based on EFMS TRADE's published analysis; the stops and risk-to-reward are our own. We don't control or verify third-party analysis.
- **Past results don't predict future results.** A level that worked last week, or a run of winning setups, says nothing about the next trade.

## Before you place a trade

1. Only trade money you can afford to lose completely.
2. Decide your risk per trade first. Many traders risk 1% of their account or less, so that a full stop is a small, survivable loss.
3. Size the position from the stop, not from the target.
4. Practise on a demo account until you understand margin, leverage, swaps and how your broker fills orders.
5. Stay flat around high-impact news unless you understand the gap risk.
6. If you are unsure, speak to a licensed financial adviser in your country.

## Leverage

Forex and gold are usually traded with leverage. Leverage makes small price moves large on your account, in both directions. A 1% move against a position at 1:100 leverage can wipe out the margin on that trade. Prop-firm challenges and funded accounts have their own drawdown rules; breaking them can end the account even if the idea was right.

## We will never

- Ask you to send us money, crypto or account logins.
- Manage your trading account or trade on your behalf.
- Promise profits or "guaranteed" signals.
- Message you first offering paid signals or investment plans.

Anyone doing this in our name is not us. Report the account to Instagram and don't send money.

## Your responsibility

You are responsible for every trade you place and for checking that trading is legal for you where you live. By using this website you accept that FXDaily.news, its authors and contributors are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of anything we publish.
