**What is the gold (XAUUSD) outlook for 2–6 Nov 2026?** Gold's bias for 2–6 Nov 2026 is sell rallies below the 3840 turning point, after a close at 3,877. The main sell zone is 3940–3950 with a stop at 3962. The main buy zone is 3840–3875 with a stop at 3825, only after its trigger. Key events: US midterm elections (all day) Tue — PKT and NFP + unemployment + earnings Fri 18:30 PKT.

## Zones (data)

| Zone | Side | Range |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Retracement sell | Sell | 3976–4001 |
| Trapped buyers sell | Sell | 3940–3950 |
| Demand 1 (daily) | Buy | 3840–3875 |
| Demand 3 (H4) | Buy | 3756–3790 |
| Demand after 3840 break | Buy | 3631–3674 |

**Bias: SELL rallies.** Gold closed at **3,877**; a break of **3840** opens 3674 and 3631.

Gold (XAUUSD) starts NFP week after a crash: spot closed Friday near 3,877 (OANDA 3,875.65), down 3.6% on the day. EFMS TRADE keeps the weekly bias bearish but says not to sell at this level, because price is sitting on the first strong daily demand zone (3840-3875).

The plan is to let gold retrace, then sell 3940-3950, where many traders bought too early and are stuck, or 3976-4001. Buys are only for an M15 or H1 reversal from 3840-3875 or 3756-3790. A break of 3875 and 3840 opens 3674 and 3631.

Friday's drop came after hot September PCE inflation (3.6% y/y) and a split Fed hold kept rate-hike bets alive, while a tech-stock sell-off forced leveraged selling. This week brings the US midterm elections on Tuesday and the October jobs report (NFP) on Friday at 18:30 PKT.

## Trade signals

None of these is live at the current price: each needs price to reach its zone and show the trigger.

| # | Signal | Entry | Stop loss | Targets | R:R (TP2) | Trigger |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | SELL (trapped buyers) | 3940–3950 | 3962 | 3880 / 3840 | 6.18R | after a retracement, rejection with no H1 close above 3950 |
| 2 | SELL (retracement sell) | 3976–4001 | 4015 | 3945 / 3880 | 4.09R | rejection in 3976-4001 |
| 3 | BUY (demand 1) | 3840–3875 | 3825 | 3943 / 3976 | 3.65R | M15/H1 reversal: sweep and close back above, no blind buying |
| 4 | SELL (breakdown) | 3840–3850 | 3868 | 3790 / 3674 | 7.43R | H4 or daily close below 3840, sell the retest |
| 5 | BUY (demand 3) | 3756–3790 | 3740 | 3840 / 3875 | 3.09R | M15/H1 reversal from the zone |

Take partial profit at the first target and move the stop to break-even.

## Risk to reward

## What flips the bias

- **3840**: Key level. A break of 3875 and 3840 opens 3674 / 3631
- **3950**: An H1 close above cancels the 3940-3950 sell

| Scenario | If | Then |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Retrace then sell | Gold bounces into 3940-3950 or 3976-4001 and rejects | Sell towards 3880 and 3840 |
| Demand holds | An M15/H1 reversal forms at 3840-3875 | Buy towards 3943 and 3976 |
| Breakdown | H4 or daily closes below 3840 | Sell the retest towards 3790, then 3674 and 3631 |
